會方教育心理學家每星期均會駐校，工作的重點是把教育心理學的理論及研究成果應用於教育工作上，以支援及幫助學生面對成長過程中所遇上的困難和挑戰。

Introduction:

An educational Psychologist would visit school every week, his/her duties focus on applying theoretical practices from research in educational psychology to support and help students to overcome difficulties and challenges. 

服務：

1. 為有需要的學生設計特別教育計劃，並定期評估其成效

2. 觀察及記錄學生的學習、行為及在課堂或活動時的表現

3. 向教師提供諮詢服務，協商學生的學習及行為改善計劃

4. 為有情緒、行為及學習上有困難的學生提供輔導服務

5. 為新生、轉介生及離校生作學習能力的評估

6. 向家長提供其子女在成長、學習及行為適應上的諮詢及輔導

7. 為教師及家長提供專題講座

8. 為學校的課程安排提供專業意見

9. 以教育心理學的知識設計並推行教師培訓或家長親職教育，協助教師及家長更有效地教育和輔導新一代

Services:

1. To design IEPs for students in need and evaluate the effectiveness regularly

2. To observe and record students’ learning needs, behavior and performances in class

3. To give the professional advice to the teacher to design the training programme

4. To provide counselling for students with emotional, behavioral and learning difficulties

5. To evaluate newly admitted, referred or departed students’ learning abilities

6. To suggest appropriate consultation and counselling to parents for students’ learning and behavioural growth

7. To organize talks for teachers and parents

8. To give professional advice on school’s curriculum development

9. To assist teachers and parents by designing and implementing workshops or seminars for them.
